Katie completed her degree in Physiotherapy, graduating in 2004 from the University of Huddersfield. Katie has had a passion for Neurological Physiotherapy from the onset of her career.
From 2005-2009 she worked at Stoke Mandeville Hospital Aylesbury, initially rotating through a variety of specialities after working for two years within the National Spinal Injuries centre. In the latter aspect of her career she has been working within the NHS services in Oxford covering a wide range of neurological specialities including, but not exclusive to, Stroke Head Injury, Parkinson’s and Multiple Sclerosis. She has extensive experience with treating individuals in their home environment and managing conditions in the local community.
Her post graduate training has included completing her basic Bobath Course in 2011 gaining further skills and knowledge in managing the neurologically impaired individual. In addition she has extensive experience in other available adjuncts to treatment such as the Saeboflex and electrical stimulation.
Katie’s ethos is to optimise both physical and functional outcome through physiotherapy after neurological impairment.
