OxPhysio is registered with most of the main Health Insurance Providers. If you have Health Insurance and require treatment, you will need to contact your insurer to discuss how to go about using OxPhysio as your physiotherapy provider.
You do not normally need to contact your GP for a physiotherapy referral if you have private health insurance but it is always best to check with your insurer first. You will be given an authorisation number before you commence treatment which allows us to deal directly with your Insurer, cutting you out as the middle man. Obtaining an authorisation code ensures that your insurance company will cover the cost of your treatment in full. In some cases you may need to pay for your treatment up front and claim it back from you insurer but you will need to discuss this with them before commencing treatment.
